The Local Organizing Committee, supported by EGATIN Committee are pleased to announce the EGATIN Study Days & AGM in Rome, Italy, from 24th to 26th April 2020.
In our present time, people seem to be both more connected and more alienated by digital media and information – society appears to be marked by extraordinary transformations which are reflected in our clinical work and social life. What are our responses as group analysts to these changes and how can we adapt these responses to our group analytic work and training? The theme of the
EGATIN 2020 SD “Contemporary challenge. Applied Group Analysis in Group Analytic training”
reflects on these considerations by presenting various group analytic examples concerning the treatment of modern diseases ( computer addiction, ADHD ), by implementing short term groups and, in order to answer the transformations in wider society by trying to develop dialogue in large groups.
The venue of SD will be Museo Nazionale di Storia dell’Arte Sanitaria – Sala Alessandrina. Lungotevere in Sassia, 3. It is located in the prestigious Complesso Monumentale S. Spirito in Sassia, whose origins date back to 727 AD and which houses the Santo Spirito in Sassia Hospital. We hope that the theme and the site will motivate you – founding members, colleagues of Group Analytic institutes, students – to come and share scientific developments and professional/educational experiences, to improve group analytic competences and
human relations together.
